A fire was reported at the aluminum plant in Scriba at 9 a.m. Thursday. Firefighters from two counties have been on scene for hours, pouring water onto the roof of the plant. As of 11:30 a.m., a representative from Novelis said the fire was still burning. Novelis, which says it is the world’s largest supplier of aluminum sheets for the automotive industry
