When I say Esu the trickster god hides behind the veil I mean that — sometimes we believe we are making good decisions and that we are smarter than the rest of the flock but when Esu reveals himself we fall into a trap. We realize we are no better and no smarter than the other victims of abuse. We also realize we can fall for tricks too.
