The three-cylinder, six-piston, rocker drive two-stroke with a blower for scavenging makes an incredible noise, as evidenced by this clip from goodwinmadhouse on YouTube. Ever wondered what an engine looks like on the inside? You can see a Commer TS-3 Diesel engine in action at the touch of a button in our museum! Introduced for use in commercial vehicles in 1954, this model was discontinued in 1968 when Chrysler took over the Rootes Group. It has three cylinders moving above and across the crankshaft, each with two pistons. Unlike a petrol engine, a two-stroke diesel cannot use crankcase pressure to boost the air supply, as it would tend to combust or explode an
