LCAC is collecting new or gently used clean coats for women, men, and children! In addition, we’ll accept new and warm hats, gloves, scarves, and socks. LCAC Sorors showed up and showed out during the 2025 Virginia Gubernatorial Election! From serving as poll workers and election officers to helping voters find their polling locations, our members were all in for democracy. On Saturday, November 8th, scouts from all over southeastern Fairfax County collected food from neighborhood doorsteps and delivered the items to LCAC. Over the course of the morning and afternoon, the scouts collected 9,561 pounds to support our food pantry. These donations filled our entire outdoor storage pod, which we rent during the holidays to accommodate the increased volume of food donations.
