Our service members protect us, but our environmental policies could soon fail to protect them and their families. Congress’ proposals for the 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), are set to roll back critical protections from PFAS, also known as toxic “forever chemicals.” The 2026 NDAA would: ➡️ Delay bans on PFAS firefighting foam ➡️ Allow PFAS in cookware, carpets and other household goods sold on base ➡️ Slash cleanup funding by over $100 million Defense communities deserve clean
