Some of these kids are genuinely addicted to social media. They also have to multitask and do multiple things at once because they require constant stimulation. The issue is that the multitasking means that their brain isn’t fully absorbing anything so when they’re completing work, watching YouTube, conversing with other kids, they’re not learning and they don’t finish their work. But if you tell them to focus on one thing or that they need to be working well before they can receive a privilege
