Why do we poop in a bag? 💩 Sometimes it’s required, like when we backpack in Canyonlands. Poop doesn’t breakdown in the desert the way it does in a forest, and the ground is too hard to bury deep enough. 🏜️ Plus, campsites at Canyonlands are booked every night of the year, and that much poop would make the area unsanitary. 🚽 Even in forests where poop breaks down faster and can be buried deeper, because of the number of people recreating in those areas, conditions are becoming contaminated. �
