The Church has set aside values around the authority of Scripture amid blatant expressions of immorality, combined with the brazen and bold mocking of the values that define a Christian community. Even ungodly people can recognize something is wrong. Leading American corporations mock and ridicule the Christian faith. We have to decide which side we are on. Church, this is our watch. In the face of the great darkness, evil, and ungodliness, let’s find our voices to respond with great enthusiasm.

Keep watching, listening, and thinking about what’s being said in this day. Perhaps the most distressing is the brazen, bold, unapologetic, public opposition to expressions of the Christian faith. There is an unrelenting determination that the Christian faith has to be a private, sequestered thing—not expressed in the public place in any way. Now, the Church in our culture has been silently deciding what truth we are willing to stand alongside in the public square while our Lord has been mocked.
