Ovaries are two small organs which are located on either side of uterus.These organs produce follicles and eggs during cycle and also produce female hormones estrogen and progesterone.In ovaries if there is a small fluid filled sac, that is called cyst.Depending on the size of the cyst and what problems it gives and the content, the treatment varies.Usually if it is a small cyst less than 5 cm and contents appear to be clear as on an ultrasound scan then it should be monitored periodically.Hormo
