The term “Oma” basically translates to “Grandmother” in some cultures, so when she told me her name, I believed her. Built to depict the “average human,” Oma was supposed to be 5’7” tall, but like me, she shrank over time. And, like me, she bears many imperfections. I considered “fixing” her to meet more societal standards of beauty, but I felt a kinsh
