Water Boiling Point Experiment: Pressure & Vapor Pressure Explained

At 10,000 feet elevation, the saturation temperature (boiling point) of water is approximately 194.3°F (90.2°C), as the lower atmospheric pressure at higher altitudes reduces the temperature needed to break the intermolecular bonds of liquid water. In air conditioning systems the compressor and metering device alter the pressure of refrigerant in order to set the temperature at which a state change will occur in order to absorb and release latent heat. #hvac #hvaclife #hvactech
