Underway: A meeting between the veterans of liberation struggle, United Nations Representative and Swapo Secretary General, Sophia Shaningwa is currently under way. The meeting is to address the concerns of liberation veterans regarding the reparations of war veterans of 1989. The veterans, who have been camping at the SWAPO Party Headquarter since 2025, claim that they are owed money given to the ruling party by the United Nations Commissioner for Refugees. | The Villager Newspaper
