Meet the rarely seen White Ribbon Eel (Pseudechidna brummeri), also known as the Ghost Eel. This species has only been confirmed in Australian waters 3 times. The last recorded sighting was at Green Island by Trent Robinson in 2022, and before that, more than a century ago. Unlike the more familiar Moray eels, the White Ribbon Eel has an exceptionally slender body and pale coloration.
