I've been hunting a vein of quartz that has been shedding gold into the hillside around it for a while now. The way to do this is to "loam." The process of taking a sample of dirt and washing it off to see what gold values are in it. Then, concentrating your efforts on working around the highest yielding sample. Today, we took 60lt of sample dirt from suspected areas, and to our surprise, all three of them showed gold. Including a nice little chunky bit! We're getting closer to the source of all
