Here is a preview of the weather you can expect this week across the country. It appears that some much needed rainfall will linger over the eastern U.S. from the middle to the latter part of this week as an anomalous upper-level low drops southward from the Great Lakes region into the Appalachians. According to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center, 02A is located approximately 220 nautical miles southwest of Karachi, Pakistan, and, over the past six hours, the storm has moved westward at 8 knots (or just over 9 miles per hour).
