A powerful microburst producing winds of up to 98 km/h struck Roma, Queensland this afternoon, with significant impacts reported across the town. More than 3,000 customers are currently without power, accounting for most of the community. Numerous trees and branches have been brought down, and some property damage has occurred. Audrey Mason shared this video of the severe weather that hit Seguin late Thursday night. “I’m not sure if this was the tornado or not from last night, or if it was a giant microburst,” she told us. “But it wiped out all our decorations.” The National Weather Service continues investigating whether a tornado touched down in the area after it issued a warning late Thursday night.
