FIREFIGHTERS BATTLE EARLY MORNING HOUSE FIRE ON MCDONNEL STREET At approximately 4 a.m., Peterborough firefighters responded to a reported structure fire on McDonnel Street, just west of Park Street North. Firefighters arrived to find visible flames coming from the main floor, along with heavy smoke. All occupants were able to escape the burning building but did suffer from smoke inhalation.
