Your children’s behaviour is your responsibility, not schools. When my kids started grade one, I said to the teacher if my kids ever step a toe out of line, never discipline them. That’s my job. So many wonderful teachers are quitting, right, left and center, and it’s just so sad. It’s because of the behavior, it’s not because of the teaching. You don’t focus on the bad behaviour, you deal with it and then you focus on the good kid. Bring out the good kid in them. I used humor and fun. Fun with little kids by playing in their world and entering their world, and humor with teenagers, because that is how you bond, you connect by enjoying their company.
