Former I Prevail vocalist Brian Burkheiser has launched a new solo venture dubbed Scatterbrain, and is kicking off this next phase with a heavy revamp of Taylor Swift ’s “Look What You Made Me Do.” As previously reported, it was revealed last May that Burkheiser — who had sung cleans for I Prevail for 10 years — had split from his longtime band.
Swift prances around in the aesthetically retro clip, questioning the preconceived notions about her value in a relationship. All, she just wants to “stay in that lavender haze” – the dreamy happiness of content – with her partner, played by transgender activist and model Laith Ashley.
