While Apple is still expected to debut its first foldable iPhone in a book-style format later this year, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says Apple is evaluating a square, clamshell-style foldable that would open and close vertically, similar to classic flip phones.

Apple has not even launched its first foldable iPhone yet, but talk about a second foldable model is already doing the rounds.

According to Gurman, Apple is not only working on the iPhone Fold but is also actively developing a clamshell-style foldable iPhone.
