Local sheriff’s departments are warning drivers about upcoming sobriety checkpoints.

State police at Wilkes-Barre are planning to conduct driving-under-the-influence roving patrols and checkpoints this weekend as area residents celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, according to a news release.
